A Patch of Grass

You notice a very pretty grassy spot, on which sits two blue eggs.

You look at the eggs for a moment, then notice a small white card sitting next to them. It reads:

These are two Jey'ien eggs, to be named Matild and Neylian. Jey'ien come from the Glacier's Edge.

You set the card down, and then notice a small red scrapbook in the grass. "Was that there before?" you wonder as you pick it up.

Before you can even get the book open, both eggs begin to rock. "Oh, oh, uh...Silvanon!" you yell out. Silvanon hurries over, and you tell her, "Look, they're hatching!"

As if to add emphasis to your words, both eggs simultaneously crack open. Two small heads poke out, and take their first look at the outside world...

You and Silvanon watch in wonder as the two continue their struggle to get out.

Later, you notice that you are still holding the red book. You open it and take a look. Huh, that's strange...
